The Greenhouse Ensemble is a membership-based “Artistic Greenhouse”; a community of highly trained and dedicated artists from various disciplines who wish to create Theatre, Film and Art within a positive, judgment-free environment. Our members are from Harvard, Yale, Juilliard, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, NYU Tisch, Cornell, HB Studio and many other renowned institutions. We are Actors, Directors, Filmmakers, Writers, Professors of Universities, Sound Designers, Costume Designers, Museum Directors, Casting Directors, Teaching Artists, Dancers, Musicians and Fine Artists. We are a highly selective organization. That being said, we have an “open door policy” which allows anyone who is dedicated to their art to be involved in our supportive community.

 

The Greenhouse Ensemble’s mission is founded on theatre ethics (trained positivity and non-judgment) in order to effectively collaborate with artists of varied disciplines. Theatre’s purpose is to improve lives. The only way to fully access your imagination on a consistent basis is to train yourself to stop judging yourself and others. This training encourages openness, which leads to positivity and happiness.

 

Artists are the most creative people in the world and the least financially rewarded for their efforts. Less than 1 in 100 Actors are able to live off their ArtWork. It is the result of a creative individual's inability to function in a corporate grid. We will create a New System. We will work together to build our own theatres. Audiences are searching for the voices of this generation. It is a matter of ensuring trust with our patrons by only sharing quality work on a consistent basis. And quality is a fully-realized vision.
